Most-Requested Songs of 2025

What were the top 5 most-requested songs of 2025?

Well, we are a a month into 2026.

So far all the buzz in the world of mobile DJing is Bruno Mars. Yep, the prince of modern pop has a new album out. And all I can think about is, “Will our couples request it? Will it become a hit or another flash-in-the-pan song we DJ’s get excited about?”

I also wondered, what were the top 5 songs our couples picked to help the dance floors at our weddings stay packed?

Without delay, let’s start at number 5…

Mr. Brightside – Killers

How is this song 22 years old? Released in 2004 off their debut studio album, Hot Fuss. This song has had LEGS! It will not go away. I have also noticed that most every type of couple loves this banger.

Song number 4…

September – Earth, Wind, & Fire

Do you remember? Yes, the funk classic from 1978 is still packing the dance floors! Old & young rush to dance when they hear this come on.

Song number 3…

Pink Pony Club – Chappell Roan

This newer hit came out in 2023 and still makes every bride and bridesmaid sing like they are 16 years old. FYI… all the guys also sing it.

Song number 2…

I Wanna Dance With Somebody – Whitney Houston

As for now, this song, and the number 1 song on our list, have traded places.

Your aunts and uncles all know this one. PLUS it’s a song that really brings the ladies to the floor!
Released in 1987, it was the follow up hit to “How Will I Know”. The big question to me is, how come this stood the test of time over “How Will I Know”?

Song number 1

Dancing Queen – ABBA

Oh, how the dance floor lights up when this gets mixed in. The beat is electric. The hook is known to all.

Little know fact. ABBA only toured the US once. Their sound faded. Then Mamma Mia! hit the stage, followed by the big screen, and now it’s a must for 99% of our couples!

BONUS TRACK!!

We also keep track of the top trending songs.

Bottoms Up – Trey Songz ft. Nicki Minaj

Hip-hop from the 2010’s is moving back into our playlists. Crowds just love the hook of this one. And we all know that people enjoy an adult beverage or two at weddings. Drink up!

Thanks for reading and I will see you on the dance floor!
