In 2018, countless companies in Atlanta have maybe 8 to 10 full-time employees. And at the end of the year, many employers what to show how much they appreciate their hard work all year long! They want to have a party for them, but is it worth getting a DJ, or Photo Booth, or Karaoke, or even a Santa… for just maybe 20 people?
I remember my parents going out on New Year’s Eve. The year had to be 197o-something. They bought a table at the local Knight’s of Columbus hall for 10 of their friends!! There would be 30 other tables there of people doing the same for maybe 10 of their friends! They would all share the cost of dinner and dancing. What an idea! Let’s bring that to 2018!
What do I mean? We have talked with a few of our venues about this idea. “When a handful of companies call to book a smaller party,” we say, “let them know that there is a Block Holiday Party open!” You get maybe 4 or 5 companies to share the cost on dinner, and entertainment! What a great way for that company we first talked about to have a fun end-of-the-year event and not have to cover the full bill! They can now have a DJ, Live Music, Photo Booth, or Caricaturist! Maybe Carolers, Magician, or Fun Novelty acts like Santa or the Grinch come to the party! How about an exciting Casino!
Then a DJ can do fun games. Have the companies battle each other in trivia, dance battles, or even Karaoke sing-offs! Talk about a fun time!
